Bruce has been working with boomerangs since 1984 and was selected for the Australian team in 1988. Bruce is the current Australian boomerang throwing coach and has appeared on local and international television shows including shows aired in Germany, England, Denmark, USA, Netherlands, South Korea and Japan.

- arm and wrist mechanics
- catching techniques
- how to control your boomerang in the wind
- basic competition rules and events and
